This newest series by Grief Care Fellowship has been written especially for you; the suicide survivor suffering from suicide grief. The death by suicide of your loved one has left every part of your world both shattered and filled with pain.
Grief after suicide feels devastating.
In the aftermath of death by suicide every fiber of your existence has been torn apart, nothing in life makes any sense and you are left with questions having no easy answers. Your personal questions such as “Why?” and “How could this happen?” drains you both emotionally and physically.
Emotional pain sets you on a wild roller coaster ride trying to understand what seems both unreasonable and impossible. Physically you find yourself unable to cope with the intensive decisions that must now be made.
Grief Care feels your pain.
Some of our staff families and circle of friends have walked where you now walk. They know, feel, and have experienced the pain you now endure.
There is hope.
In this book you will find many of our staff, family, and friends share their difficult journey and, more importantly, their journey of healing.
As a staff we are reminded of the promises of God that He will come alongside, and He will heal, and He does provide hope for tomorrow. Johns Gospel (John 14:15-17) is the promise that God has sent the Holy Spirit who will come along side to be our Comforter. It is the peace of God that passes any peace this world can offer (John 14:27). Each of our individuals sharing their pain have walked where you now walk. They have known the grace and peace of God. Now, their desire is to share their personal story of grace and comfort (2 Corinthians 2:4).
Blessings and Grace
